As the Summer winds down and the school year fast approaches we look forward to welcoming back our students. The first day of school for students is Wednesday September 7th, 2016. Students will gather on the blacktop at 8:45am where teachers will come to greet and collect their students. Class lists will be posted on Friday September 2nd at 4pm. They will be listed by student OEN numbers that can be found on past report cards. We will also be emailing out the class lists in the same format in case you are not able to make it to the school before Wednesday. See you on the 7th!
Often we are asked what students will need for school supplies each year. The school will supply everything that children need for learning, however, many students like to have their own personal supplies.
Some of the things that students might like to have include:
Primary and Junior: pencils, pens, pencil crayons, rulers, scissors, glue sticks
Intermediate Students: Students in Grade 7 and 8 will be on rotary and may find it easier to keep their worked organized by having different smaller binders for each subject OR a larger binder with dividers. Along with the above mentioned supplies, we also recommend a calculator and math set as these will be used throughout the year in a few subject areas. Grade 7&8 students will also need a Dudley lock which can be purchased at the store or through the school.
